Hajj is the world’s largest annual pilgrimage that takes place in Mecca, Saudi Arabia. Last year VICE Founder Suroosh Alvi went with his family and shot footage with an old Handicam. His intention was never to make a VBS doc out of it, but lo and behold here it is…shaky camerawork and all.

Is what Google did right ? Google says it was a bug and they’re working on it but I believe they did it on purpose. I think the whole religion thing is a touchy subject and Google should not suggest for all religions. For the search comparisons Click read more
As The Next Web has reported, typing Islam is into Google shows no terms from Google Suggest.
But replace Islam with a number of other major religions — such as Christianity, Judaism, Hinduism, etc. — and Google Suggest shows a variety of terms, including many negative ones like … is a lie, is false, is a cult, etc. The discrepancy between how these religions are portrayed and the lack of suggested terms for Islam is led some to accuse Google of favoritism.
Not so, Google says. A spokesperson tells us: “This is a bug and we’re working to fix it as quickly as we can.”

First impressions Round up
If you were at RIS on Friday you would have notice the crowd was bigger than last year. It was Estimated that 17,000 people were there. The hall was soo packed that there were people standing all the way at the back.
Two things RIS needs to improve on: better crowd control and more food vendors. There is only one major exit and entrance for the major hall. So it takes about 10 mins to get out; the bazzar has bigger entrance and exitwith no wait time . With 17,000 people you would think they would have alot more food vendors; but they don’t. With the few vendors they do have the line ups are between 15 and 20 mins wait.
With all that said this is still the best convention to go to in North America

Faced with five pails, all filled with a mix of fruit and each labelled with one of the short-listed names for his son, the daddy gorilla lumbered over to the pail marked “Nassir.”
